OVER 300 AT CHANUKA ADVENTURE AND MENORAH LIGHTING

A fantastic crowd of over 300 adults and children packed the ballroom of the Sunnyvale Community Center at our fantastic Chanukah Adventure afternoon. The lines waiting for the hot steaming latkes and jelly donuts were almost as long as those waiting to get into the hall.

Children were treated to a range of wonderful activities such as sand art, marble menorah building, candle making, face painting, and a professional balloon twister was on hand to make all kinds of fantastic  balloon creations.

The huge crowd was also treated to an exciting olive pressing demonstration by Rabbi Yisroel Hecht, and then the highlight of the afternoon was the kindling of a large ice sculpted menorah- which was an attraction in itself.
