We're impressed with our curriculum, now it's your turn! We hope to engage your child by capturing his/her imagination and attention. We put a lot of effort into providing our students with substantive lessons and a positive atmosphere.

The lessons are multi-sensory and hands-on, ensuring that the students truly experience what they are being taught. The lessons are structured with discussion-starters, to create a lively, interactive classroom experience. The information truly becomes the student's own.

HEBREW READING

Our Hebrew School uses the acclaimed Aleph Champ program to ensure that your child will read fluently at the end of his/her Hebrew School experience. This highly motivational system is time-tested and proven to be the fastest and most effective method of teaching Hebrew reading and writing to the once- a -week Hebrew School student.

PRAYER

Our students gain confidence and familiarity with the Siddur-Hebrew Prayer Book.

JUDAIC STUDIES CURRICULUM

Our curriculum is designed to actively involve students, and to keep the children motivated and enthusiastic. The curriculum is taught through a variety of media such as games, drama, songs and arts and crafts
On their journey through Hebrew School, our students will encounter a large range of topics to be found in our ancient and rich heritage.

ISRAEL

Our students will attain an affection for our heritage and a uniqueness of our homeland Israel.

HOLIDAYS AND SHABBAT

Hands-on lessons on each Jewish holiday will fill the calendar as we proceed from Rosh Hashanah and the High Holidays through the holiday of Shavuot. The students will have a deeper understanding of each holiday, traditions and customs. Each year the students will build on the knowledge of the holidays from the previous year. The Chabad Hebrew School will also host holiday celebrations for our students and their families.

ARTS AND CRAFTS

Art projects are incorporated into our curriculum to add to the excitement for the upcoming holidays. Our projects will have Jewish holiday and Mitzvah themes and will add a aste of Jewish life to the home.

EXTRA CURRICULAR

We know that ideas taught academically should also be followed by exciting hands-on-workshops in order to maximize a child's learning experience. Special how-to sessions such as Shofar, Matzah and Havdallah candle making are designed to bring Jewish holidays and observances to life in a fun way.
